I bought this for my 1964 Singer Gazelle to replace the tired Zenith 30VN which had been on since new. Despite ultrasonic cleaning, replacement jets and gaskets the Zenith was suffering from a worn spindle and needed even further work to stop the throttle sticking. As such, I decided to replace it with this Weber 34ICH and 'wow' what a difference! It bolts directly onto the manifold and aside from re-using the throttle lever from the Zenith, no adjustments were needed for the linkage. There's no longer any fuel evaporation, fuel economy is noticeably better, performance and responsiveness is improved and it's good to know this is a new carb with spares available. I've jet to confirm if the jet it was supplied with is the best, but having driven around 100 mile since fitting, everything looks fine.
